Baby Duckman Arrives Early

Just kidding. This is our niece, Kira Linnemeier, with Emily and Kira's mother, Leslie Linnemeier. Isn't she adorable? Leslie and the baby are pretty cute too.

12 Week Ultrasound

Emily went to her 12 week appointment today. The baby looks great, with two little arms, two little hands, two little legs and two little feet. The doctor said that s/he is pretty big for 12 weeks, so the due date might actually be sooner than March 15.

Vigo and his Chew Card

The Original Baby Duckman

On November 16, 2004, our first-born child came into the world on a Native American reservation in Arizona. In July of 2005, we rescued him from the Maricopa County Jail and gave him the name Vigo the Carpathian. There is no sign that he yet senses the peanut inside Emily's womb. We know he's going to be a protective big brother. We'll have to teach him not to step on the baby like he climbs all over us!

Beware the Ides of March

Emily and Jamie are delighted to report the impending birth of our second child. S/he is due March 15th. Attached is the image at ~9 weeks (or negative 31 weeks depending on your point of view).
